<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a whole slide image creating device capable of enhancing speed and accuracy of pathological diagnosis. <P>SOLUTION: A whole slide image creating device includes: photographing means 16 for photographing a pathological sample with basic magnification; area of interest specification means 4 for specifying an area of interest regarding the pathological sample based on image data of the pathological sample photographed with the basic magnification by the photographing means; detailed photographing means 16 for performing detailed photography of the area of interest specified by the area of interest specification means; and storage means 26 for storing the image data of the pathological sample photographed by the photographing means and detailed image data of the area of interest photographed by the detailed photographing means in association with identification information of the pathological sample. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
