<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint for a multilayer pipe which is favorably used even outdoors. <P>SOLUTION: The joint for a multilayer pipe includes a barrel part 2, a cover 3, an inner packing 4, and a chuck ring 5. The barrel part 2 includes a base part 21, an inner sleeve 22 and an outer sleeve 23 which project forward from the base part 21. A pipe holding part 24 having a space in which a multilayer pipe P can be inserted is formed between the inner sleeve 22 and the outer sleeve 23. An insulation part 6 is provided in the pipe holding part 24. The cover 3 is provided to cover the inner sleeve 22 and the outer sleeve 23. The chuck ring 5 is disposed in such a manner that a part of the rear portion thereof abuts on the outer sleeve 23. A front outer packing 71 and a rear outer packing 72 are provided inside the cover 3. The rear outer packing 72 is provided behind the chuck ring 5, and seals a space between the cover 3 and the outer sleeve 23 in a liquid-tight manner. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
