An electric motorcycle frame for an electric motorcycle is disclosed. The electric motorcycle frame comprises side structures including openings. A torsion tube configured to house an electric motor is connected to the openings of the side structures and the torsion tube is a stressed member of the electric motorcycle frame.

1. An electric motorcycle frame comprising:
a headstock configured to connect a front suspension to the electric motorcycle frame; a first side structure connected to the headstock, the first side structure including a first opening; a second side structure connected to the headstock, the second side structure including a first opening; and a torsion tube configured to house an electric motor, the torsion tube including a first end and a second end, wherein the first end of the torsion tube is connected to the first opening of the first side structure and the second end of the torsion tube is connected to the first opening of the second side structure.
