PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inertial force detector capable of precisely detecting a failure on a temperature sensor.SOLUTION: The inertial force detection device detects the displacement magnitude as an angular speed when a vibrator is displaced in a second direction due to an angular speed generated in a state the vibrator is vibrated in a first direction. The inertial force detection device includes: means that controls the vibrator to resonate in a first direction; temperature detection means that detects the temperature; and means that detects a failure of the temperature detection means. Plural signals from the three means each representing a failure detection result are continuously output via a signal line.
