PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic composition capable of effectively depositing water-insoluble particles onto a surface of various base materials, such as skin and hair, and delivering benefits derived from the particles to the surface.SOLUTION: There is provided a cosmetic composition containing: (a) at least one kind of anionic surfactant; (b) at least one kind of hydrophobically modified cationic polymer; (c) at least one kind of water-insoluble particles including at least an inorganic part and/or a polymeric part and/or a visible light absorbing part; and (d) at least 40 mass% of water. The amount of (b) hydrophobically modified cationic polymer is preferably 0.005 mass% or more, more preferably 0.01 mass % or more, furthermore preferably 0.05 mass % or more to the total mass of a composition. |
