PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make characters within a page image after magnification clearly visible for a user.SOLUTION: A section extraction part 31 extracts a plurality of sections in which characters in the same size are continued, respectively, within a document image. A section designation part 32 designates one or more magnification target sections from among the plurality of sections extracted by the section extraction part 31. A magnification rate specification pat 33 specifies a magnification rate of the magnification target sections on the basis of a character size F1 of the magnification target sections and a smallest character size F2 among character sizes of any other sections than the magnification target sections being larger than the character size of the magnification target sections. An image creation part 34 magnifies images in the magnification target sections at the magnification rate specified by the magnification rate specification part 33 and creates a page image by arraying the magnification target sections after the image magnification and non-magnified sections (any other sections than the magnification target sections among a plurality of sections). |
