PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source drive device capable of stably performing dimming control while suppressing power loss.SOLUTION: A light source drive device 1 supplies current from a converter circuit unit 7 of a drive circuit unit 2 to an LED module 10. The drive circuit unit 2 generates a correction detecting signal Sa. A converter control unit 4 controls the converter circuit unit 7 on the basis of a dimming signal Sc and the correction detecting signal Sa. When the size of a dimming instruction signal Sad is not less than a first dimming threshold value, a dimming control unit 3 generates a first correcting signal based on the dimming instruction signal Sad as a detection voltage correcting signal Sf. When the size of the dimming instruction signal Sad is less than the first dimming threshold value, the dimming control unit 3 generates a second correcting signal which is a prescribed value as a detection voltage correcting signal Sf. |
