PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an albumin-bound toxin removal apparatus that can remove an albumin-bound toxin from blood or plasma containing a serum albumin bound with an albumin-bound toxin at a high removal rate.SOLUTION: An albumin-bound toxin removal apparatus 200 removes an albumin-bound toxin from blood or plasma containing a serum albumin bound with an albumin-bound toxin. The albumin-bound toxin removal apparatus includes: serum albumin denaturation means 220 for making it easy to dissociate the serum albumin and the albumin-bound toxin by denaturing the serum albumin bound with the albumin-bound toxin with a protein modifier; and toxin removal means 230 for removing the albumin-bound toxin dissociated from the serum albumin out of the blood or plasma.
