摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal device, an electronic apparatus and an illuminating device that include, even if a plurality of light guide plate portions extended in a first direction are aligned in a second direction, a comparatively small number of light guide plate portions or light emitting elements, and enables uniform emission intensity of illumination light even with a comparatively small size in the first direction.SOLUTION: In a liquid crystal device 100, for employing local dimming, a light guide plate 80 of an illuminating device 8 has light guide plate portions 81 each having a trapezoidal plate like shape, whose two side opposite with regard to Y axis direction have different lengths, respectively, aligned in X axis direction upside down with regard to an orientation in the Y axis direction. A light emitting element 89 emits light-source light into a light guide plate portion 81 from an edge face positioned on a short side 812 side of the light guide plate portion 81. A light scattering face 821 is provided in a space 82 between the light guide plate portions 81.
