PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery arranged so that the operating potential of a positive electrode is 4.3 V or higher based on metallic lithium, and having superior input and output characteristics and excellent durability (cycle characteristic).SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery assembly comprises: a positive electrode; a negative electrode; and a nonaqueous electrolyte. The positive electrode has an upper-limit operating potential of 4.3 V or higher based on metallic lithium, and includes a positive electrode active material and an inorganic phosphate compound having ion conductivity. The nonaqueous electrolyte includes a supporting electrolyte, an oxalate borate type compound, and a nonaqueous solvent. The nonaqueous solvent consists of non-fluorine solvent. A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprises the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery assembly which has been charged at least once. |
