PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint device in which versatility can be improved by expanding the limit on the applicability and arrangement position.SOLUTION: A joint device 100 comprises a ball holding body 120 which fixedly holds a ball part 113 against the force received by a connection body 110 from a mating member in the state where ultrasonic vibration is not applied to the ball part 113 of the connection body 110. The ball holding body 120 consists of two ring-shaped upper holding body 121 and lower holding body 122 constituted by piezoelectric elements respectively applying ultrasonic vibration to the ball part 113. The upper holding body 121 and the lower holding body 122 are provided with electrodes 121a, 121b, 122a, 122b for applying high frequency voltage. Each of the electrodes 121a, 121b, 122a, 122b is connected to a drive unit 150 via electric wires 123. The upper holding body 121 and the lower holding body 122 are fixedly held in a housing 130. |
