<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a droplet discharge device, an image forming apparatus, and a landing position adjusting method, which enable a replacement operation of a droplet discharge head to be easily and rapidly carried out and cost increase of the devices to be suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: Balls 264 as three positioning members are supported by a support plate 242 for supporting the droplet discharge heads 241. A positioning plate 243 is adhesively fixed to the discharge heads 241, and the positioning plate 243 includes a conical recessed portion 243a as a first positioned portion to be engaged with one of the balls 264, a V-shaped groove portion 243b as a second positioned portion to be engaged with another ball 264, and a flat surface portion 243c as a third positioned portion to abut on yet another ball 264.
