<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of effectively utilizing excessive current generated in various portions. <P>SOLUTION: A color printer 1 includes: a positive image formation device for generating positive excessive current during an operation; a negative image formation device for generating negative excessive current during the operation; a capacitor which has a positive electrode and a negative electrode and functions as an auxiliary power source to an image formation section; a first switch provided between an excessive current point of the positive image formation device, a grounding point and the positive electrode; a second switch provided between the grounding point, an excessive current point of the negative image formation device and the negative electrode; and a third switch for turning on/off power supply from the capacitor to the image formation section. In the color printer 1, each switch takes a first state in which the positive electrode is connected to the excessive current point of the positive image formation device and the negative electrode is connected to the grounding point, and a second state in which the positive electrode is connected to the grounding point and the negative electrode is connected to the excessive current point of the negative image formation device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
