<p>A welding system for metal strips which comprises a laser welding and cutting system capable of moving on three axes x, y and z and carrying out not only cutting operations for preparing the edges and welding operations, but also the operation of side notching of the welded joint, without the need for specific mechanical systems with considerable saving of terms of investment times and costs. The system is flexible and capable of covering a wide range of products in terms of dimensions and chemical-physical properties. A welding process which is rapid and accurate at the same time, reducing production costs while ensuring higher strip welding quality, is further described.</p> |
