<p>The present invention provides a water-soluble polyalkylene oxide modification product that is able to increase viscosity and is able to impart a highly viscous aqueous solution at a quantity of addition that is small compared to conventional products. More specifically, the present invention provides a water-soluble polyalkylene oxide modification product obtained by reacting a polyalkylene oxide compound, two different monovalent hydrophobic alcohols, and a diisocyanate compound. It is possible to further provide: a cosmetic material having a low sticky sensation and favorable spreading by using the modification product; a coating material that has superior drip prevention and coating film smoothness; and the like.</p> |
