Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for coating both sides of a panel, capable of sequentially coating one surface and the other surface of a panel. The disclosed apparatus for coating both sides of a panel comprises: a first coating unit which coats one surface of a flat panel with a coating agent; a first curing unit which cures the coating agent spread on one surface of the panel to form a first coating layer; a panel reverse unit which reverses the panel to switch the upper surface of the panel, on which the first coating layer is formed, to the lower surface; a second coating unit which coats the other surface of the panel which has been turned over; a second curing unit which cures the coating agent spread on the other surface of the panel to form a second coating layer; and a panel transfer unit which transfers the panel to sequentially pass through the first coating unit, the first curing unit, the panel reverse unit, the second coating unit, and the second curing unit.
