NEGATIVE ELECTRODE AND LITHIUM BATTERY INCLUDING THE SAME

Disclosed are a negative electrode, a lithium battery employing the same and a producing method thereof. The negative electrode includes a current collector and a negative active material layer disposed on at least one surface of the current collector. The negative active material layer includes a metal nanoparticle, a carbon-based material, a titanium-containing oxide and a binder. The titanium-containing oxide can improve a high-efficiency property of the battery due to being included in the negative active material layer having density of greater than 1.5 g/cc and less than 3 g/cc.
