Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for controlling a virtual input device for an augmented reality apparatus. The apparatus for controlling a virtual input device for an augmented reality apparatus according to the present invention includes: a photographing unit; a display unit which displays an image photographed by the photographing unit; a variable surface detection unit which detects a variable surface in the image; a virtual input device generation unit which generates a virtual input device on the variable surface in the image and displays the virtual input device on the display unit; an input learning unit which tracks change of an image around an input object according to operation of the input object on the variable surface on which the virtual input device is generated, learns the change, and then generates learning data; a key input detection unit which detects a physical surface local change on the variable surface based on the generated learning data and detects key input with respect to the virtual input device; and a key input event performing unit which performs an event corresponding to the detected key input. |
