The present invention relates to a fill dam having a core zone using a corrugated water stop and, more specifically, relates to a fill dam having a core zone using the corrugated water stop, wherein a core zone of the dam is formed of the corrugated water stop and constructed with low strength concrete. According to a desirable embodiment of the present invention, the fill dam has the core zone on a center between an upper part and a lower part of the dam; and a transition zone on both sides of the core zone. The plate-shaped water stop including a vertically fixated waveform is formed between the core zone and the transition zone. The core zone is formed of a core material comprising low strength asphalt concrete where a soil material in a dam construction site is mixed. |
