The invention discloses a manufacturing of a lithium-ion battery and a pressing method of a graphite negative electrode piece of the lithium-ion battery. The pressing method comprises the following steps of: carrying out compaction operation on the graphite negative electrode piece according to first compaction density during piece pressing; and carrying out the compaction operation on the graphite negative electrode piece according to second compaction density after a given time interval. In the invention, the compaction density of a negative electrode graphite material is effectively improved by carrying out piece-pressing processes on a graphite negative electrode twice, so that the density of negative electrode capacity is improved, and the aim of improving battery capacity is fulfilled. |
