FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and represents a method for producing a medical absorbable suture material with therapeutic action; the method involves coating a base surface of Vicryl suture with ciprofloxacin; the method is characterised by the fact that the suture is immersed into an aqueous solution of ciprofloxacin and kept at temperature 20-25°C for min. three to max. five hours while stirring gently; the material is further taken out of the solution and washed in distilled water.EFFECT: invention provides creating the suture material having the prolonged selective action of the active substance on local surgical sites. |
