FIELD: electricity.SUBSTANCE: device envisages usage of diamond crystal structure, which surface is radiated with deuterium ion beam accelerated up to several tens of keV and used as converting targets.EFFECT: potential increase in ion current beam per a target and as consequence potential increase in neutron beam intensity thus providing potential usage of the claimed device in different areas where fast monoenergetic neutrons are used such as logging of oil and gas and uranium wells, control over processes of industrial production, certification of products, detection and identification of poisonous and explosive substances, neutron therapy, neutron radiography and tomography, detection and control of nuclear materials and scientific researches.2 dwg |
