摘要 FIELD: engines and pumps.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to low-thrust engines for spacecraft orbit correction. Said engine comprises plasma accelerators with accelerating electrodes, i.e. cathode (4) and anode (3) as well as working fluid feed units. The latter are composed of cartridges (7) provided with spring-loaded pushers (8). To initiate the plasma-forming discharge electrodes (9) are fitted in cathode bore (3). Ceramic end insulator is arranged between electrodes (3, 4). Reservoir capacitors (14) unit (13) is connected with the electrodes via cathode and anode buses on panel (15). Heat is removed from plasma accelerator via heat pipes. Heat pipe evaporation section (22) abuts on electrodes (3, 4) and ceramic insulator while heat pipe condensation part (23) is secured at the frame of engine unit attachment to spaceship body. Opening of said frame houses the heat-strained flat wall of power supply control unit.EFFECT: higher reliability and efficiency of spaceship engine unit owing to better heat removal.7 cl, 5 dwg
