FIELD: electricity.SUBSTANCE: spiral magnetic explosion generator comprises outer and inner coaxial current leads forming the main cavity of initial magnetic flux. The outer current lead is made as spiral of insulated metal wire while the inner lead is made as a cylindrical or conical tube filled with explosive agent. At outer surface of the inner current lead there are circular or spiral cumulation grooves. The method for current pulse cumulation includes generating initial magnetic flux from the external source in the main cavity formed by outer and inner current leads, compressing in the main cavity of magnetic flux under action of explosion of the explosive agent, outputting magnetic flux to the loading cavity. At flux compressing a constantly movable electric contact of the inner and outer current leads is endured due to destruction of insulation of the outer current lead by cumulative jets.EFFECT: increased power of explosive magnetic generator due to reduced loss in magnetic flux in wire insulation of the outer current lead.3 cl, 3 dwg
