The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for authenticating a user, which comprises the following steps: a first step of receiving and transmitting a recognition code to a web-based terminal, and generating a session corresponding to the recognition code; a second step of receiving the recognition code; a third step of transmitting the recognition code to an authentication server, and receiving a web server address corresponding to the recognition code; a fourth step of transmitting the web server address to the web-based terminal, and requesting account information corresponding to the extracted web server address to the web-based terminal; a fifth step of receiving the account information, and transmitting the received recognition code and the account information to a web server; and a sixth step of identifying or verifying whether the account information exists in a member management DB, and connecting the session with the account information. |
