FIELD: physics.SUBSTANCE: method includes, when labelling each object, randomly selecting a portion of the surface of the object on which an optical label is applied, thereby enabling determination of a region of the surface for which, based on the number and/or list of relative coordinates of intersections of a predetermined number of imaginary lines, having a predetermined position relative to the optical label, and elements of the unique surface structure of the selected portion, a data set is created and stored for further use, said data set uniquely identifying the labelled object, and when identifying an object, the position of the optical label on the surface of the object is determined, which is then used to determine the region of the surface for which an identification data set is created using a similar method and the unit is identified based on the match of the created data set with one of the sets stored earlier.EFFECT: high security of labelling.17 cl, 4 dwg, 3 tbl |
