FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: method includes steps of placing a fibrous structure on a support which forms a moulding surface, closing with a counter-mould and compacting the structure by bringing the surface of the counter-mould closer to the surface of the mould. The support has a cylindrical part and a wall oriented radially relative to the cylindrical part. The counter-form has two parts which are movable relative to each other which respectively move one in the direction of the axis of the cylindrical part and the other in the direction of the radial wall of the support.
