FIELD: printing.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to polymeric multilayer products, in particular to polymeric protective elements used for visual authenticity control of security printing products, such as securities, banknotes, passports and ID documents. The element for authenticity control of security printing products is applied to the substrate and has modified paint areas resulting from exposure to laser radiation on the paint layer to form the image detectable by visual control. The paint layer comprises microparticles ranging in size from 1 micron to 100 microns, coated by thin-film transparent, half-transparent or interference paint layers or microvoids containing pigments or dyes in them. The said microparticles or microvoids are arranged regularly and oriented.
