PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a numerical control device in which a cutting condition and a processing area shape are extracted from an existing NC program and a processing cycle command that has smaller number of blocks and can be easily edited by using an input guidance and the like on the numerical control device is generated, and a program editing method.SOLUTION: A numerical control device 100 recognizes one processing step from an NC program 10, extracts a specified processing type and cutting condition from the processing step, generates a processing area shape based on each block of the processing step, and generates a processing cycle command based on the processing type, the cutting condition, and the processing area shape. The NC program 50 in which a part of the block is replaced with the processing cycle command can be easily edited by an operator without using a CAD/CAM system and the like. |
