PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve real-time testing of a control unit so as to be performed with higher precision, even when a load model that does not take into account current gaps caused by a power converter is used for simulating an electrical load.SOLUTION: A control technical monitoring section is additionally implemented on a simulator. The monitoring section calculates at least a load current, as a load state variable, using a monitoring load model that takes into account power converter control data, and detects a zero point-crossing of the load current and current gaps caused by the zero point-crossing from the calculated load current. When a current gap is detected, an electrical compensating quantity is calculated to be additionally added to the electrical load of the electrical load model so that the calculation of the load current using the electrical load model takes place with reduced error in the presence of possible current gaps. |
