摘要 The present invention addresses the problem of providing a seat structure of high strength. A structure of the present invention is such that in an area from around rear portions of cushion-side side frames (11) to around lower portions of back-side side frames (21) where the cushion-side side frames and the back-side side frames are linked via reclining mechanism portions (30, 30), a substantially rectangular-frame shaped reinforcing structural body (110, 120, 130) is set. The reinforcing structural body (110, 120, 130) increases the integrity of a cushion frame (10) and a back frame (20), whereby, when a load is applied to the back frame by the shock of a rear collision and the like, the load will mainly act as a force that would deform the cushion frame (10) via the reinforcing structural body (110, 120, 130), and the load will thereafter act as a force that would mainly deform the back frame (20) as the body of a seated person moves rearward. When subjected to the shock load of a rear collision and the like, the structure can take advantage of not only the strength of the back frame (20) but also the strength of the cushion frame (10), providing higher rearward moment strength than is offered conventionally.
