The present invention relates to a front-end-enlargeable pile and a method for constructing same, the front-end-enlargeable pile being capable of forming an enlarged pile part while swiftly cutting in a diameter-enlarging manner the ground around the front end of the pile in various strata by using simple equipment without a separate hole-enlarging drill, thereby significantly increasing the allowable bearing capacity of the pile. The front-end-enlargeable pile according to the present invention comprises: a main pile body; and a diameter-enlarging implement, which is coupled to the bottom of the main pile body, and the diameter of which is enlarged by a pressurizing member as the diameter-enlarging implement is rotated with the rotation of the main pile body, wherein the diameter-enlarging implement comprises: a base member; a guide tube, which integrally protrudes from the central upper surface of the base member, and the upper part of which is open so that the pressurizing member can enter therefrom, and which has a plurality of entry/exit holes formed on the outer circumferential surface thereof; a coupling member for fixing/coupling the guide tube inside the main pile body; and an enlarging member comprising blades, which are provided between the base member and the bottom of the main pile body and have cutting implements formed on the outer sides thereof, and pressurizing parts, which are provided at the rear ends of the blades, have one end positioned inside the guide tube through the entry/exit holes of the guide tube, and slide outside the guide tube by the pressurization of the pressurizing member, thereby enlarging the blades outward. |
