PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the deterioration of transmission quality of signal light.SOLUTION: An optical transmission device includes: an optical branch unit 51 for branching signal light input from a first optical network 1; a variable optical attenuator 53 for controlling one attenuation amount of the signal light branched in the optical branch unit 51 to output to a second optical network 2; and a control unit 57 for detecting, from other signal light branched in the optical branch unit 51, a modulation component superposed on the signal light, and based on the detected modulation component, controlling the attenuation amount of the variable optical attenuator 53 in such a manner that the modulation component is suppressed. |
