PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pharmaceutical composition containing an enzyme preparation containing an enzyme which is effective in the treatment of autism, ADD, ADHD, Parkinson's disease, cystic fibrosis, or other behavioral disorders in neurological conditions, which is sensitive to the treatment by pancreatic enzyme or a digestive enzyme, and to provide a method for preparing and using the preparations.SOLUTION: The invention provides: an encapsulated digestive enzyme preparation which contains a core containing enzyme particles in which an enzyme is present in the amount of about 5-95% by weight, and an emulsifiable lipid by exposure to a solvent, the core being continuously coated with the lipid; a pharmaceutical composition containing the enzyme preparation; and a method for using the preparation. The method comprises a step of providing the enzyme particles, a step of blending the emulsifiable lipid with additives to obtain a lipid blend, and a step of preparation of the encapsulated enzyme preparation by coating the digestive enzyme particles with the lipid blend. |
