摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combination of intestinal bacteria by which plant lignan is assimilated to produce enterolactone and enterodiol at a high yield, and use thereof.SOLUTION: There is provided a combination of intestinal bacteria for assimilating plant lignan to produce enterodiol, in which, by a combination of intestinal bacteria which produces enterodiol from secoisolariciresinol in addition to intestinal bacteria which produces secoisolariciresinol from plant lignan, enterodiol can be obtained at a yield higher than a yield in producing secoisolariciresinol from plant lignan by intestinal bacteria which produces secoisolariciresinol from plant lignan. By containing intestinal bacteria which produces enterolactone from enterodiol in addition to the combination of the intestinal bacteria, enterolactone can be obtained by the combination of the intestinal bacteria at a yield higher than a yield in producing enterodiol from plant lignan.
