PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting element and a manufacturing method of the same, which can transfer a fine concavo-convex structure on an element surface without using etching by a chlorine gas and which improve luminescent efficiency characteristics.SOLUTION: A light emitting element comprises: a p-type semiconductor layer (5) which is an outermost layer on the light radiation side; an inorganic compound layer (8) formed by being layered on the p-type compound layer, in which the inorganic compound layer has a refraction index not less than 0.5 and not more than 1.0 times larger than a refraction index of the p-type semiconductor layer and contains at least one element selected from Cr, Hf, Ni, Mg, Nb, Ta, W, Ti, Zn, Zr and Si; and a fine concavo-convex structure (9) formed on a surface of the inorganic compound layer by using a self-organizing pattern of a resin composition containing block copolymer or graft copolymer. |
