PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of keeping freshness of vegetables by keeping a lower vegetable compartment under high humidity.SOLUTION: A refrigerator includes a storage compartment door 6a for opening and closing an opening of a storage compartment 6 by moving in a longitudinal direction, a lower storage case 6b moving with the storage compartment door 6a, a partition 74 detachably disposed in the lower storage case 6b and partitioning the lower storage case 6b into a front area and a rear area, an upper storage case 6c disposed at an upper portion of the lower storage case 6b and moving in the longitudinal direction independently from the lower storage case 6b, operating means 80, 82 disposed in the upper storage case 6c, first engagement means 83 operable by the operating means 80, 82 and disposed toward a lower part of the upper storage case 6c, and second engagement means 75 disposed toward an upper part of the partition 74 and engaged with the first engagement means 83. The partition 74 is disposed between thicknesses in the longitudinal direction, of the operating means 80, 82, and the first engagement means 83 is disposed near front parts of the operating means 80, 82. |
