PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve timing control device for an internal combustion engine which can suppress connection failure and coming off of connection caused by vibration, by joining a conducting wire to a slip ring firmly via a joint member.SOLUTION: A valve timing control device for an internal combustion engine includes: a slip ring 26a which is provided on a front end surface side of a power feeding plate 11 and in which a brush for power supply connected to a power source comes into contact with the front end surface elastically; a brush for switching which is provided on a rear end surface side of the power supply plate and which comes into contact with a commutator from a radial direction elastically; and a pigtail harness 27a which electrically connects the brush for switching and an exposed part 26c of the rear end surface of the slip ring. On one end part 27d side of the pigtail harness, a joint member 36 made of a conductive material is fixed, and also, the joint member is joined to the exposed part of the slip ring by an ultrasonic joining method, and the pigtail harness is electrically connected to the slip ring. |
