PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the dripping of ink from an ink supply port of an ink cartridge when the ink cartridge is removed from a printer.SOLUTION: An ink holding part 53a1 having openings is provided in an inside plug 53 which can move forward and backward inside a socket body 51 of a socket part 50 when the socket part 50 of an ink cartridge (40) is removed from a joint part 30 of a printer (10). The ink holding part 53a1 comprises a first opening located on a side where an insertion shaft 31f of the joint part 30 is inserted, and a second opening (a through hole) 53a6 which is penetrated from the inside of the ink holding part 53a1 to an outer peripheral surface of a tip side cylindrical part 53a of the inside plug 53. By pulling out the insertion shaft 31f inserted into the ink holding part 53a1, an ink IK existing in the vicinity of an ink supply port 51e of the socket body 51 can be held by the ink holding part 53a1. |
