A linear DLP micro projector comprises a light supply device, a light path converting device, an illuminating optical system, a DLP modulator (112) and a projection lens group (113). The light supply device comprises a first LED light source (101), a vertical collimating lens group (102, 103) corresponding to the first LED light source (101), a second LED light source (104), a horizontal collimating lens group (105, 106) corresponding to the second LED light source (104), and a light splitting lens group (107, 108). The light path converting device comprises a fly-eye lens or a light bar (109). The illuminating optical system comprises a first free-form surface optical element (110) or a lens group composed of a first right-angle prism (210) and a second free-form surface optical element (211), and a second right-angle prism (112, 212). The optical elements of the micro projector are simplified, the elements are substantially arranged in a straight line, the size of DLP micro projector is reduced and the production cost is greatly reduced. |
