The invention relates to a method for producing an endless belt (2), wherein at least one preimpregnated fibre (3) having at least one fibre core (5) and at least one impregnation layer (4), which differs from a material of the fibre core (5) and is made of a thermoplastic material, is wound helically about two rollers (6, 7) arranged at a distance from one another, wherein portions, located next to one another, of adjacent windings of the at least one fibre (3) are welded together at least by heating the impregnation layer (4). The invention also relates to an endless belt (2) which is produced by this method. |
