The present invention relates to a device and a method to measure a nasal cavity volume. The device includes a light source part emitting light; an illumination control part sequentially changing an illumination level of the light according to a set order; an image photographing part continuously photographing a nasal cavity according to the illumination level, and storing the photographed image frame as digital information; a control part performing the general control of each component; a storage part storing the digital information of the image frame; an image analyzing part identifying an effective pixel group of each of N number of image frames, stored in the storage part, by using the digital information about each of the image frames, and identifying a tone value of each of effective pixel groups with a color value of each of the effective pixel groups; and a volume calculating part identifying a distance by effective pixel group by using the tone value and identification information of each of the image frames, and calculating the volume of the nasal cavity by using the identified distance. |
