PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dynamic switch driver for a low-distortion programmable-gain amplifier.SOLUTION: A switching circuit comprises: a switch including an N-channel MOSFET (M) and a P-channel MOSFET(M); and a drive circuit (SDC) configured to selectively apply a pair of drive signals to change an ON/OFF state of the switch. The drive circuit is configured to generate the drive signals as a function of a pair DC signal components sufficient to change the ON/OFF state of the switch and a pair of time-varying signal components (V, V). The pair of time-varying signal components is a pair of time-varying signal components as a partial replica of the signal present on the source terminal of each MOSFET, so that when applied with the DC signals to the gates of the n-channel MOSFET and p-channel MOSFET respectively, the ON/OFF state of the switch is maintained, and a gate-source voltage of each MOSFET is kept within a gate-source breakdown limit. |
