PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid working machine which improves fuel economy by reducing the size of an engine by employing a simple hybrid system, improves a gas exhaust characteristic, reduces noise, and can perform quick charge of a battery while suppressing the lowering of an output of a hydraulic pump when a charge amount of the battery is extremely insufficient.SOLUTION: A vehicle body controller 46 makes an engine forcibly generate excessive torque by performing engine rotation number lowering control for lowering a target rotation number of an engine 11 when a charge rate of a battery 33 is lowered to a first charge rate or lower, and reduction torque control for reducing the maximum absorption torque of a hydraulic pump 21, makes a power generation electric motor 31 operate as a generator by using the excessive torque, and thereby performs the quick charge of the battery. |
