INTEGRATED VALVE ASSEMBLY

An integrated valve assembly is provided for pressure-responsive flow control for associated components, such as for nutritional administration to patients. The valve assembly includes a first connector element and a second connector element, which are joined to each other, and which respectively define a first, internal flow passage and a second internal flow passage. A valve member, which may comprise a resiliently deformable slit valve, is positioned between the first connector element and the second connector element for providing pressure responsive flow control between the first, internal flow passage, and the second, internal flow passage. At least one of the first connector element and the second connector element can be configured in accordance with ISO CD 80369-3 for use in enteral nutritional administration.
