PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform an easy detection of water leakage that may result in draining of hot water at a hot water adding type bath hot water system.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a hot water system having a hot water adding function through an additional hot water passage 27. A flow rate sensor 95 for use in detecting hot water supplied from a hot water discharging passage 23 during a hot water adding operation is arranged between a merging point 32 with a bypass passage 25 in the hot water discharging passage 23 and a branch point 33 with a hot water feeding passage 26 extending into a bath tub 8. A leaked water at a passage ranging from a flow rate sensor 90 to the flow rate sensor 95 is detected on the basis of a comparison between a calculated flow rate at the flow rate sensor 95 and an actually detected flow rate at the time of shutting-off of the flow at the additional hot water passage 27 by an additional hot water solenoid valve 75. The calculated flow rate at the flow rate sensor 95 is calculated in reference to an inputted flow rate into a can body 10 detected by the flow rate sensor 90 and a diversion ratio based on a degree of opening of a distribution valve 50. |
