PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for efficiently downloading patch data.SOLUTION: An application recording unit 332 records application software. A patch acquisition unit 300 obtains patch data from a server and records it in a patch recording unit 334. An application execution unit 310 executes an application using the application software and patch data. A difference information acquisition unit 302 obtains data block difference information between a latest patch file held by the server and a patch file recorded in the patch recording unit 334. A download execution unit 304 downloads an updated data block from the latest patch file according to the difference information.
