PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce inductance even in a one-in-one type semiconductor module.SOLUTION: A semiconductor module 1 of the invention includes: a vertical type semiconductor element 3; a first main electrode 5 which is connected with one main surface of the semiconductor element and supports and fixes the semiconductor element; and a second main electrode 7 connected with the other main surface of the semiconductor element, the second main electrode 7 in which a connection terminal connected to an exterior part is provided. The second main electrode 7 extends in a direction different from a direction in which the connection terminal is provided and reaches a side wall of the semiconductor module 1.
