PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an authentication apparatus or a new authentication method for releasing an operation limitation state capable of providing a new authentication method in the authentication for releasing the operation limitation state of an information processor.SOLUTION: An information processor includes means for limiting operation of an apparatus and means for operating a touch panel. The information processor performs authentication by comparing a registration pattern that is a sequences of a plurality of orientations of an owner stored in a storage device in advance as a registration pattern with a releasing pattern that is a plurality of input sequences obtained from orientation detection means when releasing of the apparatus operation limitation is requested. When the authentication is successful, an operation limiting state is released. |
