摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly switch a lock state and an unlock state of a driving cam to a rotating shaft rotated by driving force of an engine.SOLUTION: A drive control device of a fuel pump includes a rotating shaft 10 rotated by driving force of an engine, a driving cam 40 disposed on the rotating shaft 10, an engagement element 21 disposed on the rotating shaft 10, an engagement recessed portion 31 disposed on the driving cam 40, and engagement element switching means for making the engagement element 21 enter into the engagement recessed portion 31 to keep the rotating shaft 10 and the driving cam 40 in a lock state, and separating the engagement element 21 from the engagement recessed portion 31 to keep an unlock state. In the lock state, a fuel pump 50 can be operated by pressing force from the rotating driving cam 40. The engagement recessed portion 31 includes an engagement element guide portion 31b for guiding the engagement element 21 in the unlock state to an engagement position corresponding to the lock state. The engagement element guide portion 31b is composed of an inclined face gradually deepened from a starting end side toward a terminal end side along a moving direction of the engagement element 21.
